I’m a long-time baseball fan whose love for baseball began when the Brooklyn Dodgers, better known as the Bums, played on Flatbush Avenue.
I’m a writer, teacher, and editor who’s written for a variety of magazines and newspapers, including the Philadelphia Daily News, and wrote a column for Flushing University, a New York Mets Web site. I also have a blog about the New York Mets and tweet about them.
I don’t write only about baseball. I’ve written a book about tai chi ch’uan, a Chinese exercise and martial art that I first encountered in the 1970s.
Among my writing endeavors here, I have reviewed books, interviewed baseball bloggers, and sometimes talked about baseball board and computer games.
